A reeve was responsible for the management of the laws and finances of a shire or county. They reported to the count or earl.
Reeve in the SCA
A reeve is the SCA officer who acts as the group treasurer. They deal with all the mundane financial issues of the group/s, keeping financial records and accounts, and ensuring the group/s they are in charge of are not running themselves into debt!
