Camping done in period style provides the opportunity for extended periods of re-enactment as well as ample time for such things as drinking.
There are many things to consider with regard to period camping. These include:
- Tents
- Cooking arangements.
- Supplies (see also: Camping List for some items you may like to take camping)
- Authenticity - a number of groups have little focus beyond fighting and/or short term activities thus spend little time developing authentic (or authentic looking) camp equipment to better imperse themselves in a historical re-creation.
