The old article seemed bias towards European swords, and was definitely POV. I tried to touch things up a bit, but if anyone thinks they could be more neutral than I, feel free.

The ninja sword (if it existed at all) certainly did not exist in the SCA period. Those warriors now refered to as ninja used the same swords as other warriors of the time. Possibly because carrying a straight bladed square guarded sword in a time when most used the tachi or katana is a dead giveaway. I didn't edit the main article as I didn't feel comfortable altering so much text.
