The roasted skin of a pig. It gets its name from both the sound it makes during the roasting process, and the sound it makes when you eat it. It's usually cut into medium-sized squares, salted, and then eaten warm. Delicious!
Note: You can almost feel your arteries harden as you eat crackling.... but its just so tasty.
