So they went around collecting donations for the Goonbeson. It was left on a log next to the Combined Colleges fire to dry off, and the wine smell, plus whatever gambeson smell it already had became baked in. This smell was the stuff of legends - powerful enough that it could draw bees toward it even on the next day - and it was made all the more pungent by the sweat of fighting in it. |

The Goonbeson was an old gambeson belonging to the College of St Ursula which was dyed pink using goon and various other donated wines during Rowany Festival of A.S. 56 (2022).
It was created for Matthijs to wear during the Fighter Auction Tourney, by Lady Mathilde Ficke Sitte (the very first winner of the Bad Cocktail Competition) and assisted by other collegians such as A-to-me-ja and Salome.
