Hmm. I'm not sure this is a good general template for households. It implies a structure which does not exist in all households, I would venture to say most households. Households may be too heterogenous to template up well. AlexandreDavigne 01:30, 2 January 2009 (EST) |

*Good points. I created one because I wanted to add one for my household. I decided to create a template for other households since one did not exist. Any suggestions on what we can change or perhaps add new templates to cover other households? Randal 14:55 Jan 1, 2009 (CST) |

I'm not sure. Is there a good general model for households? It's such a catch-all term in SCA usage, covering everything from Crusader Houses to Abbeys to Pirate Ships to Autonomous Collectives. Some have arms, some don't. Almost all have one or more nominal heads and a "dominant" Kingdom or at least a Kingdom of origin. What other commonalities are there? Focus? Many households have a specific area of interest ... |

My first thought would be to generalize the "head of household" terms, which is the part that seems the most specific and this most likely to be ill-fitting. The rest is general enough. AlexandreDavigne 00:17, 3 January 2009 (EST) |
