In my edition of Cury On Inglysch (Oxford University Press 1985) it says 'eurose' instead of 'curose'. In the introduction to the book: "Note, by the way, that Pegge's reading of 'curose' for this word in The Forme of Cury (No. 179) was simply a misreading." [p. 33]
Alternative MS spellings are in the entry given as 'ewerose' and 'efrose'.
Eurose means, of course, rosewater. /Pernilla L
