<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Note apart from original author: There are in fact 2 period examples in rapier plates which demonstrate the use of a mail gauntlet to protect the off-hand.<br />

It would be a good idea to name these examples. Mail gloves are different from butcher's gloves in that they are a modern, welded, stainless steel version with very small, thin rings.<br />
