In the [[arts|art]] of [[painting]], period canvas was &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;always&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; linen. In modern times, cotton duck is most commonly used with linen canvas carrying the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;linen&amp;#039;&amp;#039; designation. &lt;br /&gt;
