	The '''Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr''' is an [[SCA]] [[groups\|group]] that consists of most of the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milwaukee_metropolitan_area Milwaukee–Racine–Waukesha Combined Statistical Area] (ceding certain parts to its northerly neighbors, the [[Shire of Lub Siochail]]) and extending west to include portions of Jefferson County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is i the Woodlands Region of the Kingdom of [[Northshield]].

	The group's registered name was originally ''Caer Anterth''. Upon its elevation to Baronial status, the group assumed the name ''Caer Anterth Mawr''. This is intended to be an attempt to indicate the elevated status of the group in the Welsh tongue. This would allow a consistent language usage rather than a mixed language usage, that is, ''Caer Anterth Mawr'' rather than the English-Welsh construct, ''the Barony of Caer Anterth''. However, over the years, the two constructs have blended, and the group is generally referred to as ''the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr''. As of August 2006, the correct, registered name of this group is ''Barony of Caer Anterth-Mor''. However, as mentioned, this name is not in general use.

	The registered [[device]] of the Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr is: Azure, a tower between three mullets one and two argent and issuant from a trimount vert charged with a laurel wreath argent. However, the group also uses: Azure, issuant from a hill proper a tower between in cross three mullets argent and a laurel wreath Or. Like the group's name, there have been many changes, with all older forms of heraldry still in use. The members of the Barony often use the device minus the laurel wreath as a populace badge.
