The '''bill''' was a [[polearm]] typically associated with the [[England|English]]. Sometimes referred to as the ''English bill''. It consists of a blade on the end of a [[wood]]en pole and was typically utilised by [[footsoldiers]]. 

Various heads are identified as being that of bills, but typically they had a hooked and curved [[blade]]. Some had additional projections that may be used for thrusting or cutting.
