This herbe is called Anyse, the vertue of this herbe is this, it unbindeth the stopping of the lyver, and of evell wyndes and of greate [[four humours|humours]] that encloseth the milt. Also it stereth a man to make water & to swete, also this herbe maketh a mans wombe laxative if it be hard, and the sede beyng parched, or rosted in all maner medecines, than it wil worke the rather, this herbe is [[degrees of heat|hoote and drye in the second degre]].
