Tea was first drunk in [[Asia]]. Records mention its existence in [[China]] in the 10th century [[BC]]. The first [[Europe]]an mentions of it were from travellers' notes, like those of [[Marco Polo]]. However, the first record of it being in Europe was in the early [[17th century]], when a [[ship]] of the [[Dutch East India Company]] brought the first green tea leaves to [[Amsterdam]] from China.
