Founded in January, [[A.S. XII]], the '''Kingdom of Meridies''' is the fifth oldest [[Kingdom]] in the [[Known World]]. Geographically it consists of Alabama, the eastern two-thirds of Tennessee, almost all of Georgia, a bit of the panhandle of Florida, and a portion of Kentucky. Given its location, it should be no surprise that the name Meridies means "The South".
