What does "(brodded or brogged)" mean?

• Well IIRC a brodded rug is one where you hook a thread through another materials for make furry looking rug. Like Flokati rugs. The Vikings used cloaks made this way. I'mnot sure the context is similar here though. --User 144 15:08, 24 June 2007 (EST)
