Lord is the honorific given to male holders of an Award of Arms or Kingdom level award. All male participants (or, indeed, those having male personaes) are entitled to be called m'lord as a polite form of address. Other common honorifics are The Honorable Lord/Lady (for holders of a Grant of Arms), Your Excellency (for Barons/Baronesses, Viscount/Viscountesses and Counts/Earls/Countesses), Your Grace (Dukes/Duchesses), Your Highness (Prince/Princess), Your Royal Highness (Crown Prince/Crown Princess) and Your Majesty (King/Queen).
