Thomas Hauptmann is, in mundane life, a high school math teacher in a semi-rural public school in the southeastern US. On the weekends, he enjoys fencing, greyhound coursing, heraldry, scribal arts, and all of the other things there are to do in the SCA. He lives with his wife, two children, and a dog, all of whom also love going out to events.
He is a resident of the Barony of Windmasters Hill, in Atlantia.
